Contemporary British artist Paul Hosking was born in 1976 and studied Fine Art at Plymouth Art College and much-celebrated Goldsmiths College, London.

Hosking is an artist working in a wide range of techniques and materials, including mirrored acrylics, extruded aluminium, jesmonite, etched glass, and bronze, gold leaf. Sometimes his work involves complex image collages on objects. He also makes use of readymade objects: books, coconuts, vases, toilet air fresheners, joke shop bones, taxidermy manikins, electric lights and motorized units. Recent work has employed industrial techniques: laser cutting, CNC routing, powder coating.

Paul has had solo exhibitions at Michael Fuchs Gallery, (Berlin) Galleria Leme (Sao Paulo), Karyn Lovegrove Gallery (Los Angeles), One SE8 (London), and the Economist Sculpture Plaza (London).

His work has been included in many group exhibitions including Becks Futures, ICA London, Three from Britain, Nevada University Las Vegas, All boys, Brussels, Heart and Soul, London and Los Angeles, The Drawing Project Vamili’s Athens, Selected Sculpture MW Projects, London, Group Works Andre Viana, Portugal.
